Hello friends,
I am planning on doing some less conventional seating in my classroom this coming school year. I teach Grades 7 & 8. I am on the hunt for furniture such as but not limited to bean bag chairs, weighted exercise balls, couches, bistro table, bar stools, carpet squares, yoga mats, cushions, standing desks, tables with various heights, crates, etc...
I have been on Kijiji and checking out garage sales as much as possible. This project has to be funded by me so I a ... m looking used first but also looking for sales. If any of you happen to have furniture laying around that you may be willing to sell or if you have seen any good deals out there, I would really appreciate it if you would let me know. Whatever I use has to be durable as I had a few pieces in my classroom last year and learned that 12, 13, and 14 year olds are really hard on stuff.
