wedding dress for big bust

# TBT
My grandparents on mommas side. Every body needs a Big Daddy and a Big Momma. Ours left waaaay to soon. I was only 11 when Big Daddy (Alva Frye Hollis) died of lung cancer. He was named after his Daddy ..Alva Douglas Hollis and the Dr Frye that delivered him in lieu of money as they had none. His momma .. Mammy we called her ... Was in the hospital and lord she was crazy over her sons ... Those boys truly loved her and each other. She never knew he died. Nobody had the heart to tell her but she joined him
Shortly after. A momma knows . Evelyn . He was a railroad man and a ww2 veteran. He was married in New Zealand and had a son which he thought was killed in accident along with his wife. After his death we found out otherwise. Another story that will be written one day. He was superhuman in our eyes. A big flaming red headed invincible soldier turned farmer. I remember his smell and his freckled hands..the way he slipped his glasses into the bib of his overalls wrapped in a handkerchief and his pen and little notebook. He was always figuring something in his scrap iron yard. We fought over who would sit beside him in his old ford pickup truck even tho we knew the gear shift would bust our knee cap unless he let us change the gears. He loved to watch wrastlin! It was real! We promised momma if we had another baby it would be named Alva whether boy or girl. That name has been in our family for at least 150 years...every generation has one or more Alvas. And so in the year 2000 we had another Alva! wedding dress for big bust

My Big Momma! I was her birthday gift in 1966! Oh how all of us loved her. She was killed tragically by a drunk driver November of 1986. She already had wings. That woman was a Saint if there ever was one. She saw the good in every single person. She took care of people who had no home including old people with no family. She was truly the most soft hearted person.. Momma is so much like her. I have her hands and her blue eyes. And her boobs haha. She had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. What a story teller! She loved to tell scarey tales and all of her stories had fairy tale endings. She had the ability to tell her life story as if it was fiction and all of us kids piled up around her hanging on to every word. Many things she told were actually true.

I miss them so much and feel cheated that they left so soon. We all do! Big momma was buried in the beautiful blue satin dress we made together that she was to wear to my wedding. God what a loss.

They had a hard life.. That's a nuther story!

Snoopy ( Christopher Hollis u look just like big daddy!
